The legal gateway to Brazil and Latin America.
Foreign companies investing in Brazil face a dense regulatory environment and distinct business practices. Our International Desk exists to remove that distance: full legal counsel, delivered in English or Spanish, by a partner who operated companies in our clients' home markets.
What we do for foreign investors
- 01Acquisitions and M&A in Brazil and Latin America: due diligence, structuring, negotiation and closing
- 02Inbound tax studies: fiscal-burden modeling of the Brazilian operation and comparison of structures ahead of the investment decision, with analysis of double-taxation treaties
- 03Establishing operations: company formation, foreign-capital registration and licensing
- 04Acquisition of real estate and assets, including rural land and the restrictions applicable to foreign parties
- 05Contracts with Brazilian partners, distributors and suppliers
- 06Local compliance: anti-corruption, LGPD and regulatory obligations
- 07Litigation and arbitration involving Brazilian counterparties
